new-kerry-250Kerry has been a practicing Physical Therapist since completing her doctoral education at Chapman University in 2011, and has been working in the PT field since 2003. She has worked with hundreds of patients with a wide range of diagnoses, from brain injury and stroke to post-surgical orthopedic conditions, pain management, sports injury, and pediatric orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Kerry has an extensive background in dance and movement which includes a B.F.A in Dance (emphasis in Performance and Choreography) from U.C. Santa Barbara, competing nationally and intern. Nationally in Scottish Highland Dance and performing throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn with various modern and dance-theater companies. She finds working as a physical therapist and movement specialist extremely rewarding, and loves being able to individualize treatment in order to heal, restore function, and give hope to patients. Kerry believes that “our single-most important job as human beings is to fight gravity- for the rest of our lives.” She enjoys giving patients the tools they need in order to successfully achieve this task with a holistic combination of skilled rehabilitative care, nutrition and fitness/wellness guidance.

In her free time, Kerry likes cooking, working out and traveling the world. She also loves spending quality time with her husband Andy, Malti-poo puppy Finnegan and family and friends. Kerry stays active with teaching BodyPump, BodyJam, Sh’Bam, and cardio dance classes at 24 Hour Fitness and Gold’s Gym, and rounds out her fit lifestyle with occasional CrossFit and spinning classes.
